Tri-Valley Headshot Photographer

Executive and Professional Portrait Photography Across the Tri-Valley and East Bay

The Tri-Valley is one of the most professionally concentrated corridors in Northern California. Biotech and life sciences along the I-580 corridor. Fortune 500 corporate campuses at Bishop Ranch. Financial services and wealth management throughout Contra Costa County. Research institutions that draw credentialed professionals from around the world. Healthcare networks, legal practices, real estate markets and the entrepreneurs building businesses in cities that have grown significantly over the past decade.

These professionals share one thing. Their image is working before they walk into any room. It is on LinkedIn before the interview. On the company website before the client call. In the conference program before they take the stage. In the press feature before the investor meeting.

I have spent 26 years photographing professionals — starting in New York and Connecticut before establishing my private studio in downtown Pleasanton ten years ago. I know this community, its industries and what a headshot needs to do here.

A Studio Built for Tri-Valley Professionals

My studio at 4725 1st Street in downtown Pleasanton sits at the geographic center of the region I serve. San Ramon is ten minutes north on I-680. Danville is fifteen. Dublin and Livermore are right down I-580. Walnut Creek is twenty minutes away.

No San Francisco parking. No bridge traffic. No half-day commute for a one-hour session.

Sessions are by appointment. The studio is private, professional and built specifically for portrait photography. Three parking lots surround the building. ADA compliant with elevator access.

What a Session Looks Like

Before you step in front of the lights, we talk. Where are these images going? LinkedIn? A speaking bio? Your company website? A new venture you're launching? The answer shapes everything — wardrobe, expression, background, framing.

During your session, I direct you. You don't need to know how to pose. That's my job. Most clients tell me they felt awkward and looked confident — that's exactly the goal.

You receive fully retouched images delivered through a private online gallery. Every image is finished and ready to use.

Who I Work With

Executives and Senior Leaders Board bios. Annual reports. Speaker profiles. Media features. Executive portraits for professionals whose image appears in high-stakes contexts where the standard is unambiguous.

Corporate Teams Coordinated team sessions for companies at Bishop Ranch, Hacienda Business Park and throughout the East Bay corridor. Studio sessions for smaller teams. On-location sessions for teams of ten or more at your office.

Financial Services and Wealth Management Professionals The Tri-Valley has one of the highest concentrations of financial advisors, wealth managers and private banking professionals in the Bay Area. Your clients evaluate your image before they return your call. Sessions are designed to produce the combination of authority and trustworthiness that relationship drives on.

Healthcare and Medical Professionals Physicians, specialists, therapists and practice administrators whose patients and referring providers will see their photo before a first appointment. Sessions balance professional credibility with genuine approachability.

Entrepreneurs and Business Owners Personal brand photography for the business owner whose image needs to work across a website, LinkedIn, press coverage and speaking engagements. As a published personal branding author, I bring strategic perspective to these sessions alongside the technical execution.

Real Estate Professionals Your face is on every listing, every yard sign and every digital platform your clients find you on. I have worked with Tri-Valley real estate professionals for 26 years and understand exactly what a strong agent headshot communicates in this market.

Research and Scientific Professionals A client type unique to the Tri-Valley. Researchers, scientists and engineers at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories and private sector organizations whose professional visibility extends to publications, conference programs and institutional profiles.

Serving These Tri-Valley Communities

Each city in the Tri-Valley has its own professional culture. Each city page below reflects that specific community — the industries, the professional context and what a headshot needs to do for the professionals who work there.

  • Pleasanton Headshots — My studio is located in downtown Pleasanton. Ten years in this community. Hacienda Business Park, downtown Pleasanton and the medical and professional practices that have made this city one of the most desirable in the East Bay.

  • San Ramon Headshots— Bishop Ranch and City Center bring the highest concentration of corporate professionals in the Tri-Valley. Financial services, technology and professional services executives whose images appear in board-level contexts.

  • Danville Headshots— Established professionals, wealth managers, attorneys and business owners in one of the most affluent communities in the East Bay.

  • Dublin Headshots — The fastest-growing professional community in the region. Tech professionals, healthcare providers and entrepreneurs building careers in one of the most dynamic cities in the East Bay.

  • Livermore Headshots — Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, Livermore Valley wine country and a transformed downtown business community. The most credentialed and professionally diverse city in the Tri-Valley.

  • Walnut Creek Headshots — The commercial and professional hub of Contra Costa County. Attorneys, physicians, financial advisors and executives who commute to San Francisco and demand the same standard from every service relationship in their professional lives.

26 Years. One Focus.

I do not photograph weddings. I do not photograph events. Headshots and portraits are the only work I do — and have been for 26 years across two coasts and thousands of sessions.

That singular focus is why the lighting is consistent, the direction is specific and the results hold up in every professional context where they get used. It is also why 500+ five-star reviews span clients at every career stage, in every industry the Tri-Valley produces.

As an Associate of Peter Hurley — widely regarded as the foremost headshot photographer in the world — and a published author on personal branding, the perspective I bring to a session goes beyond technical execution. The work is understanding who you are professionally and making sure the camera captures it.
