Our home base sits within the medieval walls of a hilltop village overlooking Lake Trasimeno in Umbria. The building dates to the 1500s. It has been transformed into a design award-winning bespoke hotel without losing a single element of what makes it extraordinary.
Accommodations are limited by the nature of the property. This is not a large resort. It is a refined, intimate space designed for guests who notice the details and appreciate what they mean.

This is not a trip for photographers. You do not need a camera or any knowledge of photography to be here.
As part of the itinerary we spend some time exploring the village together taking candid photos. I share all my images with the group including everything we see and visit along the way. You leave with a full set of images to remember the trip.

I started “Italy With Nina” because I wanted to share something I had found that most people never do. A version of Italy that does not feel curated for visitors. A place where the slowness is the point.
Every year the group is small, the conversations run deep and someone inevitably says they wish they had done it sooner.
