  3. Should I get my makeup done for my headshot? I’m very particular about makeup artists. However, I have a few that are exceptional and understand the style we are looking for in your professional headshot. However, if you are comfortable doing your own makeup, please do so. 4. Can I get headshots done in my office? I thoroughly enjoy capturing individuals in their natural environments, be it their homes or offices, but it does require additional planning. If you prefer to be photographed outside of the studio, please note that there is an additional fee. Contact the studio and we can discuss the specifics further.

  5. Can I have my headshot taken outdoors? In general, outdoor headshots tend to present challenges. Issues like poor lighting, wind-blown hair, and distracting backgrounds are common problems. While I'm open to briefly stepping outside for a few shots, the majority of our session will be conducted in the studio. Please note that sessions will not be rescheduled due to weather conditions.

  6. Can I give you the guidelines I received from my employer? Whether your company has a style guide that needs to be followed, or you saw something in a magazine or online that you really liked, chances are that I'll be able to recreate it. 7. Do you do retouching on my headshots? Almost every client desires some level of retouching. My goal is to maintain your natural appearance, enhancing it to reflect your best self in my retouching. At your request, I'm happy to extend these enhancements further, all included in the image purchase price.

  8. Can I get a proof gallery so my partner can help me decide? While some individuals prefer to get input from others before finalizing their image selections, I personally believe it's not generally a good idea. My role is to assist you in streamlining your options and making informed decisions. If you still wish to seek outside opinions, you have the option to purchase the image buyout and make your selections at a later time.

  9. What if I need to reschedule my session? There is a $150 to reschedule your session within 72 hours notice. Rescheduled sessions must be within 30 days of original session date.

  10. What if I want to buy all the images? My goal is to ensure you look fantastic, and our sessions typically yield a wide array of options. Many clients express interest in acquiring all the images, but purchasing them individually can add up fast. For those seeking to obtain all images, I offer an image buyout option for a flat fee.
