A Complete Visual Identity for the Professional Who Has Outgrown a Single Headshot
A headshot tells people who you are. A personal brand image library tells them what you do, how you think and why they should pay attention.
There is a specific moment when a professional realizes a headshot is no longer enough. A book is coming out. A speaking career is gaining momentum. A business rebrand is underway. A new venture is launching. The website needs images that go beyond a portrait, images that tell a complete story across every platform where your reputation lives.
That is the client this session was built for.
Who This Session Is For
Authors and thought leaders preparing for a book launch, a media tour or a publishing submission that requires a complete visual identity, not just a headshot but a set of images that reflects the full scope of what you have written and who you are as its author.
Speakers and educators building a visible platform. Conference organizers, event producers and meeting planners evaluate speaker images before they read a bio. Sessions produce images that position you as the credible, compelling presenter your audiences already know you to be.
Entrepreneurs and business owners whose brand is inseparable from the person behind it. Your website, your LinkedIn, your press features and your marketing materials all need images that tell a cohesive story. Sessions produce that library in a single focused day.
Executives in transition who are building a personal presence beyond their current role, board work, advisory relationships, consulting or a new venture that requires a distinct visual identity separate from their corporate affiliation.
Coaches and consultants whose entire business runs on personal credibility. Your prospective clients are evaluating you before they ever make contact. The images on your website and LinkedIn are doing that evaluation work. Sessions are designed to make sure those images reflect the full depth of your expertise.
What Makes This Different From a Headshot Session
A headshot session produces strong portraits. A personal branding session produces a complete image library, portraits, environmental images, contextual shots and lifestyle content all built specifically around your brand, your business and where you are taking both.
As a published personal branding author and Associate of Peter Hurley, I bring both the strategic perspective and the technical execution to these sessions. The pre-session consultation is not a logistics call. It is a working conversation about your brand, your goals and what these images need to accomplish. The session itself is built around that conversation.
Pre-Session Brand Consultation Before your session we discuss your brand, your goals, where these images will be used and what success looks like for you specifically. You will receive a custom creative brief covering wardrobe, locations, setups and the specific image types your brand needs. This conversation shapes every decision made on session day.
Wardrobe and Preparation You will receive a detailed prep guide. I am also happy to review your wardrobe choices in advance via Zoom, FaceTime or photos. Arriving prepared is part of how we protect your time and produce the strongest possible result.
Session Day Expert direction throughout. Multiple outfits, multiple setups, multiple image types. We review images together in real time so adjustments happen during the session, not after. You leave knowing you have what you came for.
Delivery 12 professionally retouched images delivered through a private online gallery. Full-resolution files optimized for every platform and use, your website, LinkedIn, a book cover, speaking bios, press features and marketing materials.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from The Signature session? The Signature produces five strong professional images across two to three looks. The Creative Suite is a full brand photography session — more setups, more image types, a deeper pre-session strategy conversation and a final library of twelve images designed to work across every platform your brand touches. The scope of work is fundamentally different.
Where does the session take place? Studio sessions take place at 4725 1st Street in downtown Pleasanton. On-location sessions are available when your brand story requires a specific environment — your office, a meaningful location or an outdoor setting. We discuss this during the pre-session consultation.
How far in advance should I book? Four to six weeks is ideal. The pre-session consultation and creative brief take time to do well, and that preparation is what makes session day productive. If you have a book launch deadline or a specific event you are preparing for, reach out directly so we can work backward from your date.
Do you offer hair and makeup? Professional hair and makeup is available at the studio for an additional fee. For a full brand session, most clients choose to include it. Contact me before your session to arrange it.
Can I use the images immediately after delivery? Yes. Every delivered image is fully retouched and ready to use across all platforms immediately upon delivery.
