Since arriving at my new home, I have hit the ground running. Re-starting my photography business after 16 years of being established in the New York and Connecticut area is not without it's challenges. However, I have been welcomed by some great fellow small business owners which brought me to the decision to join my local San Ramon Chamber of Commerce. One person in particular stood out to me during a business mixer who later honored me with the pleasure to photograph him and his partner. They were heading out to a special awards dinner in which he was receiving a great honor. But first, he wanted to remember the special occasion.

Since moving to San Ramon I have met some of the nicest people. Last week we had this beautiful young lady's session at a location that I had spotted while out running. I tend to look for more obscure locations as a way to challenge myself to see and work more creatively. I'm happy with the results and loving the location!

East Bay Teen or Tween Portraits
Whether it's a tween or a teen - everyone deserves to feel special and have their portrait taken. Many (if not all) adults say - I hate having my photo taken. Which I can't understand when there are more selfies in the world now than ever.
Tweens are fun because they are still silly and not too self conscious to be afraid to laugh and have fun with me during their session. I loved this location even though I did almost get kicked out because they changed their policy on professional photography sessions being conducted there. That's ok. We still completed the session!
