I tell stories with my photography. My goal has always been to capture this point in time of your life. With those you've chosen to live your life with. All sorts of people enter into your life for many reasons. Some are unknown. And some feel destined.
Many clients have mentioned they've toyed with the idea of having a vow renewal party. Some reasons were to celebrate a special milestone or even because they were disappointed in their wedding photos (this makes me sad!)
So why not plan a re-do party for yourself with a very specially captured vow renewal event. I’d love to be a part of it1
Is Your Brand Bland?
In a world where first impressions matter, a bland personal brand can make you fade into the background. So, how do you know if your brand needs a boost? If you’re using stock images or amateur photos on your website and social media to promote yourself and your brand, it’s very likely that it feels generic and not very authentic.
Your personal brand is more than just a pretty picture—it’s about telling your unique story. Your headshots should do more than just show what you look like; they should capture who you are. Are your photos showcasing your personality, professionalism, and the qualities that set you apart? If not, you’re missing a prime opportunity to stand out.
Visuals are key to a strong brand. Consistency is important, but it doesn’t mean you have to play it safe. Your headshots and branding photos should be eye-catching and memorable, making you instantly recognizable. If your current images feel stale or don’t reflect who you truly are, it’s time for a refresh that aligns with your brand’s vibe.
Engagement is another crucial factor. If your audience isn’t connecting with your content, your brand might not be making the impact it could. Look at your online profiles and social media. Are your images and messaging speaking directly to your audience in a way that resonates? If your content isn’t highlighting your strengths and what you bring to the table, it’s time to step it up.
Remember, personal brands evolve. What worked last year might not work today, and that’s okay! Regularly assess your brand’s visuals and messaging to ensure they’re still working for you. A dynamic, well-crafted personal brand not only makes a great first impression but also leaves a lasting impact.
So, if your personal brand is feeling a little bland, let’s elevate your image with headshots and photos that truly reflect who you are! Click the button below to set up a free call to discuss!

How to Create A Personal Brand
How do you go about creating an effective personal brand that has the credibility and leverage it needs to attract others to follow you and convert to clients? If you are asking this question, then continue reading as I break down my five steps that will help you create a powerful brand that will attract your target audience and create conversions.
1 - Intention
This is where you get really clear on your vision, goals, objectives and strategy.
Ask yourself the following questions, and be sure to answer them fully:
• What do I want to be known for?
• What do I want my brand to represent when people see or hear it for the first time?
2 - Foundation
Take the clarity you gained from step one and implement those ideas into your social media channels, website design, business cards, email signature, presentations, etc. Focus on building the foundation and social media platform that others will be able to find you on.
3 - Attention
Shift your focus to getting attention on the foundation you have set up. This can happen several different ways, such as giving a behind-the-scenes look at how you do what you do, blog posts, podcast interviews or even offer a workshop sharing value. The goal in this step is to increase awareness and exposure for your brand.
Once you have people's attention, you are ready for the conversion step so you can turn those eyes into paying customers.
4 - Conversion
The goal is to create a product or service that solves a problem for people. Think outside of the box, and really focus on niching down.
5 - Retention
Now that you have created customers, the goal is to retain them. Focusing on customer support and showing genuine care.
These are the five steps that I believe are the key to developing and sustaining a successful personal brand that has credibility, leverage and prestige. If you follow these five phases in the correct order and remain consistent, I have no doubt you will find success.

Do I need to bring shoes to a headshot session? The answer is yes and no
Do I need to bring shoes to a headshot session? The answer is yes and no.
No, because we won’t be photographing your feet in your headshot.Headshots are above the chest because the focus should be on your face.
However, yes, because wearing dress shoes will affect your posture and body language.
