San Ramon Wedding Photographer
Every time I take out my camera, I challenge myself to get better. Look at things differently. Try new perspectives. At the last minute I decide to take part in a staged Wedding Photoshoot a couple of weeks ago. The weather was cloudy, rainy, humid - but we made the best of it! Below are just some of my favorites from the day.

Fundraising for First Responders
We took part in a very special pro bono project this past Spring. The Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department reached out to us to photograph a fundraising project for them. They were in need of raising funds for new boots. If you didn't see the video that went viral (over 1,862,000 views!) and all the press in print and on social media, click here to see the details. It's a calendar- but not your ordinary firefighter calendar- but a satirical take on it. For two days of shooting what felt like movie scenes, we have never laughed so hard. Each month is set at a local Georgetown business who all supported the efforts.
On Georgetown Day stop and see us at the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department tent. Calendars will be on sale and you can have your photo taken with some of the famous favorites from each month. Please please please support them.
Buy a calendar for yourself and for friends and family and remember, these men and women VOLUNTEER their time to keep us, our homes and place of businesses safe.
Business Headshot Photographer
I have been fortunate enough to meet some pretty amazing women. Women, more so than men, in my humble opinion, are always re-inventing themselves. Sometimes we have multiple chapters to our lives. Life evolves for many of us but nothing stops us. Some may start off in one career, then chose to move on to another. I met this strong, smart and beautiful woman through a group I co-lead called B.I.G. (Believe Inspire Grow.) This organization encourages all women to be empowered, brave and have the faith that if you can dream it, it can happen. She shared her kind words with me after our session together and I can't tell you how happy it makes me to create beautiful portraits.
Tips for Self Confidence in Photos
If I had a dollar for every person that said "I hate having my photograph taken," I'd be RICH! OK, maybe not a millionaire, but you know what I mean!
Here are my 3 Tips for self confidence when your in front of the camera:
#1 - Stop comparing yourself
Easier said that done right? Whatever your beliefs are, you were created with a PURPOSE. Believe in fabulous self and that you are where you need to be at this point in time for a reason. So embrace it.
#2 - Start your day with a positive thought
Many people I know meditate when they wake up. This doesn't have to be a 30 minute long process. Wake up and take a few moments to start your day with a positive thought. Name at least 5 things you are thankful for. It can be something as simple as: your child, your legs, your dog, your home. We all have a lot to be thankful for!
#3 - Take a coffee/tea break before your session
Sound silly? Don't show up all rushed and stressed out to your session. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and SIT DOWN and enjoy it. When was the last time you actually did this?
Contact the studio for a free consultation to get started on your own Personal Branding Headshot journey. I promise you won't hate the camera afterwards.

Wedding Celebration Wes+Amy
I've known Amy professionally for a few years so when she asked me to photograph her wedding celebration it was a definite yes! The elegant New York themed party took place at the Harvard Club in midtown Manhattan. This location is a very old traditional New York institution with history at every turn. It featured a grand staircase filled with paintings of famous people who have attended Harvard and a Grand Hall where the ceilings went up to the sky with crystal chandeliers. The room was filled with friends and family that were thrilled to celebration with this special couple.
TESTIMONIAL: Female Author Headshot Portrait
There are so many amazing talented women out there and I've been fortunate enough to meet them right in my studio. This author required a headshot for her future book. In addition, she also required a headshot for business as well. Because don't we all have multiple talents?! We were able to create many distinct looks for each of her requirements.
