When should I call to book a session?
We recommend giving us a call at least 3-4 weeks in advance of your desired date. However, it is best to contact us as soon as you know you’d like to have a session.
What does the session fee include?
Your session fee includes Nina’s time and talent, as well as: a pre-session consultation, your photo session, Nina’s time in the studio where she will select and prepare the best images with her finishing touches, and an in-person ordering appointment. (Orders are expected at this appointment. All late orders are subject to a 20% service fee and any print credits included in your session will be forfeited.)

What is the Ordering Session?
Your Session Package includes one Ordering Session. We will schedule this appointment to take place approximately 2-3 weeks after your session. We will meet at your home or another convenient location to present you with your proofs. This appointment takes between 1-2 hours. All decision makers should be present at this appointment and childcare should be arranged to take advantage of this time to make your selections. Please be prepared to place your order at this appointment. All orders are final. 100% of the purchase price is due upon ordering. Print Collections and discounts are not available after the ordering appointment, only a la carte. If you cannot make our arranged appointment, 24 hours notice is required as we set aside this time just for you! Before we meet it is important that you review all these policies and FAQs found on this page AND review the information packet that was given to you at your Session. Give some thought in advance as to where you want to hang your Wall Portraits, do you prefer a Coffee Table book and how about Gift Prints for family and friends?
How long do you keep the images?
We do not keep any unordered images after your Ordering Session. All ordered images are archived for 30 days. We recommend aquiring the Digital Set if you are concerned with archiving your images.
Do you offer retouching?
When you view your proofs minimal corrections will be made at no extra charge. However, for an additional fee, we can do additional retouching.
Can I purchase all of my digital negatives?
The set of Digital Files are included after a print purchase of $3000. Individual images can be purchased for $250 with a $500 minimum order requirement.
What do I need to know about my DVD of digital negatives?
We highly recommend that you make copies of your DVD and store someplace besides your home. Keep in mind, there is no guarantee that disc degradation cannot occur as there have been studies that discs can last anywhere between 1 and 100 years. We are not responsible for print/color quality from whatever lab you use. We can only guarantee quality from prints that we produce for you.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are typically ready within 3-4 weeks. Coffeetable books and custom framing may take up to 6 weeks.
I’m ready to book my session, how do I proceed?
Your appointment is be confirmed when full payment is made. Payment is due via bank check within 5 days of making your appointment. If we do not receive your session payment, your appointment date is then open to other clients. There are no refunds. 24 hour notice is required for all cancellations. We make every effort to reschedule your appointment within 30 days of your original date. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather or illness.
What is Copyright Law?
The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving the author (creator) of the photograph the exclusive right to copy, edit, and distribute image by sale or transfer.
These exclusive rights make it ILLEGAL to copy, scan edit or share photographic prints and digital media without the photographer’s permission.
At your session, you will be asked to sign a form stating the specifics of that law. This makes scanning, downloading, uploading, copying, reprinting, monitor wallpapering, printing gallery photos or any other form of reproduction illegal.
Violators of this Federal Law will be subject to civil and criminal penalties. All images are copyright of Nina Pomeroy Photography LLC.

We work with our clients to deliver artwork that meet each individualized needs, we reserve the right to exercise full artistic control over the nature and types of photographs taken. Nina Pomeroy Photography will endeavor to provide you with satisfactory photographs, we cannot guarantee your satisfaction due to the subjective nature of our artwork.
Can we bring our camera to take some photos at our session?
Other cameras or video cameras are NOT permitted at your session.
