Connecticut Children’s Portraits

Where have I been? I’m sorry I’ve been remiss in posting lately. But this is just the BEGINNING of my super swamped season. I now have a waiting list for weekend sessions from now into November. Don’t fret if you want a weekend session though, people have been known to move session dates/times around so give the studio a call if you want a session this Fall.

We are not shooting up at Mohonk this year which I’m a little sad about. But not too sad because we’ll be shooting in Santa Fe New Mexico instead! As long as the weather cooperates during my visit it should be a blast!

I promise to post more images soon, but here’s just a sneak peak of one of many more to come…

Clothing ideas for portraits | Connecticut portraits

I recently saw a recent family photo shoot that one of my fellow photographer took and the entire family had on bright fun clothing. It was fantastic. So many people ask if they should match, and what they should wear. I always say, where what’s comfortable and stick with solid colors (no stripes or patterns.)

I LOVE the change of seasons and the Autumn…and the clothes..and boots, etc… I came across a very fun site for women’s clothing and accessories called Ruche. I’d love to find something similar for children’s clothing. If you have any fun shops with links you’d like to share, please post it in the comments below!

P.S. And if someone can tell me what’s the deal with skinny jeans and bell bottoms making a comeback!

Holiday Short & Sweet Session Schedule Announced | CT Family Portraits

If you receive our newsletter you already know we’ve announced our schedule for Holiday Short & Sweet Sessions. This year, we’ve scheduled a date in September for Connecticut clients and a date in October for New York clients. If you’d like more info on these sessions, just give us a call! 203.613.8978
