Founded in 1915, The Woman’s Club of Winter Park is one of the oldest clubs in Winter Park. It's only fitting that these two woman choose this location in Orlando as they have known one another since the beginning of high school. In between rain sprinkles with an occasional sun ray, these beautiful brides said “I do.”
Life has had it's challenges for these two high school sweethearts carrying on their special relationship across the country. It brought a tear to my eye during their heartfelt vows. (Everyone knows I'm a crier!) Their love of photography was detailed throughout the wedding. From the insta-cameras, to the history of their lives shown in old and present photos! The stunning tables were filled with beautiful succulent plants and candles lit throughout.
We spent the morning racing back and forth across the hallway between the hotel rooms in The Alfond Inn for the “getting ready” photos. Watching Melissa read a heartfelt letter from her future wife was a beautifully quiet moment. My favorite photographs came from their first look. The light on their faces as they saw each other dressed in their wedding finest for the first time could not have been more special.
I highly suggest couples to have first look portraits before their wedding. By including a first look, couples are able to enjoy the cocktail hour and spend more time celebrating with their guests. Despite having seen each other before the ceremony, there were still plenty of tears for both Melissa and Michelle when it came time for the ceremony.
One of the most unique aspects of the wedding is that they had their four closest friends officiate the ceremony. All in all - one of my favorite weddings to capture. Congratulations Melissa and Michelle!! xxoo
