A little break now back to work

This past week I’ve had the pleasure of having my Autumn visit by my mother. This is a woman who comes with me to the NY Sheep and Wool festival for the past few years and witnesses her middle aged daughter turn into a giddy 12 year old over all the beautiful fiber and Fall foliage in Rhinebeck NY. Where else can you pet an alpaca! If you didn’t know already, I’m a craftoholic as well as a photographer. This year we stopped over for a night at the Mohonk Mountain House. If you’ve never visited, I highly suggest it. It’s a very interesting hotel where you feel as if you’ve stepped back in time. The location is fabulously situated at the top of a mountain with a gorgeous lake. Most importantly, they have an excellent spa! But today Mom flew home, so it’s back to work I go!
